Buying in Bulk: The more you buy, the less expensive it is per pound. However, freshness is compromised if you buy more than you can use in a couple of weeks.
Coffee Storage We recommend storing our coffee in the bags you receive it in. These bags are designed to keep your coffee fresh for up to two weeks. If you are not going to be able to use your coffee in two weeks, be careful on how you store it. If you must store your coffee for more than two weeks, placing your coffee in an airtight container (or the bag you received it in) and placing it in the freezer is the least damaging to the coffee. We want you to enjoy our coffee, buy in bulk and share it with your friends.
Ground or Whole Bean?: Once again freshness is the issue. Once coffee is ground, flavor escapes and other flavors can taint your coffee. There are some very nice coffee brewers that can grind and brew your coffee for you. Coffee grinders are also available at almost any store with small household appliances. We recommend a burr grinder rather than the blade grinders for consistency in the grounds.
